GOOD MORNING! I had a great weekend and am looking forward to the last week of August. If I had to pick a month I hated, it would be August! Other than our anniversary being in August (which only happened because so much of the family had conflicts with the first date we picked) August has always been a stifling month to me - always too hot, too humid and downright miserable. So, I am really glad it is on its way out and my favorite time of year is quickly approaching.
I LOVE FALL!

As I combine all my old blogs into this new one I'm also keeping a list of those recipes that I cannot in good conscience bring over until I remake them and take some decent pictures LOL.
On the way home from our anniversary getaway we stopped by the Salton Sea. If you don't know about it, you can read about it here. It's pretty interesting. On Friday they issued an ODOR WARNING - not at all uncommon for this time of year in Monsoon Season.

DeleteI don't like August either, even though it is my birthday and anniversary month lol I'm just looking forward to fall and the cooler temps.
ReplyDeleteAs for the coffee, I am like you, I have still to find that perfect blend, I've been mixing two as well, but it's still not what I want.
LOL I'm fairly happy with this coffee mix, but I'm always open to new ideas :) - I just can't start my day without my coffee especially in fall and winter!
DeleteI can't wait until we're finally out of this desert and back to God's country and in much friendlier weather all the time.
August can't leave us fast enough. I'm ready for fall and even winter at this point. Anything to give my A/C a break.

We live near a paper mill, so offending odor's are not at all uncommon especially when the wind is just right and we can smell it in the house. ick!
Yep, winter sounds awesome! It's still 96 at almost 8PM here. I can't wait to move.
